  1. Marina Benyaminova

I’s effective, as it has valerian root in it. My dog seems calmer after these drops. Drops has very strong smell, so I can’t mix it with food, my dog would not eat it.

    • NaturPet

Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear our Home Alone is working for your dog. Have you tried mixing the drops in with wet food? This seems to work better for picky dogs. With my cat at home, I do have to administer the drops directly into her mouth.

  2. Pat

I was given a sample of this to try on my 7 year old “barker”. She goes crazy if the doorbell rings, or someone comes into the House. My dog can now lay in her bed and not follow me all over the House. This product is a winner!!!!!! I can’t believe more Pet Mom’s and Dad’s haven’t reviewed this Product !!!! It’s Natural,my dog will eat it with her food, and she is such a Calm,Happy, dog I can’t believe it!!!!!

  4. Lee

My 16 year old Border Collie gets really stressed out in the car so I gave her some Home Alone for the 15 hour drive home to Saskatchewan at Christmas. I put it on her food before the trip and she ate it no problem. She was actually able to relax and wasn’t shaking and shedding like crazy like she usually is. I would definitely recommend this product!

  5. Candice Campbell

One of my dogs was a rescue (about 6 months old) when I got him about 8 months ago. He’s an absolutely lovely, sweet natured, gentle, playful doggy – everything I could want in a dog. Until I have to leave him at home. Despite having two “brothers” to hang out and play with, he turns into a destroyer. Many of my shrubs have been chewed down to a few inches in height, I find huge holes dug in the lawn, if there is anything that can be shredded, it will be. Leaving them indoors is even worse – books, shoes, soft toys, clothing, anything is fair game! My sister suggested I try your Home Alone and it is definitely making a difference. Because of the cost (he’s a fairly big dog) I am only giving it to him once daily when I have to go out., but am definitely seeing an improvement in his anxiety driven misbehaviour. Today is the third day that I have returned home after a couple of hours and not found any holes dug, nor any more shrubs “pruned”. I definitely recommend this product to anyone who has an anxious doggy.

  6. Sara

I use this product with my dog when people come over. He goes completely nuts ! He doesn’t like the smell of it either so I do have to to give it to him right in his mouth, but it really works. My only concern is my cat… I noticed that when he smells it or licks it he starts to act as if he ate a bag of catnip… is that normal that it does the opposite to him? He even tried to attack my dog to lick the little drop on the floor 😂 please let me know.

    • NaturPet

      Hi Sara!
Yes, you absolutely got that right! The Valerian root (one of the ingredients) calms people and dogs but it stimulates cats, just like catnip!
This is the first we’ve heard of a cat trying so hard to get at a drop though! 😉 Very cute!
      Thanks for your comment!

  7. Alex

Can this be given to puppies? My puppy is 6 months old and has extreme separation anxiety. He drives the neighbours crazy.

    • Tanya Duehmig

Hi Alex! Yes, absolutely this product is an all natural herbal remedy that is safe for your puppy. Please look for the new Be Calm formula, formally called Home Alone when placing an order in the future. Thank you!

  8. Tracy Matchett

If your cat is not food motivated and won’t eat all of the wet or dry food in one sitting no matter how little food you give them, can you give it to them directly from the dropper?

    • Tanya Duehmig

Hello, absolutely, you can give it to your cat directly from the dropper!
